| 3 Star, Tourist Class Traditional Hotel
The hotel’s front entrance faces Plaza Selangor and the back entrance leads out directly into Chinatown’s daily night market. Pasar Seni LRT station is a 3 minute walk away and Puduraya bus terminal an 8 minute walk away.
Though simply furnished, rooms are clean and neat. Superior rooms are small but cosy with simple wooden furnishings and green colour scheme, brightening up the room. Deluxe rooms are slightly larger and have a red Oriental bed runner and darker furnishings, but with the same small tiled bathroom with standing shower. Family rooms have three single beds, with the third looking just like an extra bed.
The 2 restaurants are located on the ground floor. The indoor restaurant features an open kitchen with a casual Malaysian style decor, while the alfresco eatery provides teppanyaki and barbeques. The hotel is lowrise shophouse style building with an Oriental facade. Swiss Inn’s small and intimate lobby with pieces of Chinese art is fitting for its location right in the midst of bustling Chinatown.
This hotel is suitable for those who want a basic room with no frills, however still enjoy a good location. |
